Application:
This product can be widely used for partial discharge detection in power systems, including insulation condition assessment of high-voltage switch gear, ring main units, voltage/current transformers, transformers (including dry-type transformers), GIS, overhead lines, cables, and other equipment. The discharge severity of electrical equipment is evaluated through the following indicators:
Partial Discharge Intensity Detection: By measuring discharge signals over one power frequency cycle, the intensity of partial discharge is characterized based on the maximum value (dB) in the discharge pulse sequence.
Partial Discharge Frequency Detection: By measuring discharge signals over one power frequency cycle, discharge pulses are extracted, and the frequency of partial discharge is characterized based on the number of discharge pulses.
